Most of my previous working experience was focused on market research for companies across Latin America and Europe. However, I always felt this was not the right career path for me.
In 2016, I moved to Germany and started working in a Product & Engineering team for a software as a service (SaaS) company. This experience opened a new set of possibilities and showed me the world of product development and user experience design.
Learning about web design and user experience made me realize that this was the perfect fit for me. It combines research, data-driven decisions, and creativity. Therefore, I made a career change and became a certified UX Designer.
For a few years, I worked within a Digital Marketing team in the airline industry to redesign their Customer Center, several landing pages, and their new public-facing website. It finally felt like I was on a professional path that I was not only good at but also enjoyed.
After moving to Vietnam in 2021 due to my spouse's job assignment, I decided to use my expertise to empower other women by designing online presences that reflect their vision and identity.
As a teenager, Tuesdays were one of my favorite days. The newspaper used to publish a weekly article featuring the story of a women entrepreneur. It was fascinating and inspiring to learn how they created a business from scratch or continued a family legacy. Their stories changed my perspective and showed me other opportunities for women in the workplace.
With Gladys.Design, I want to help this community have a digital presence that engages their customers—so they can concentrate on growing their business even more.
